1. Email List:
Promote each other through your opt-in email list. This is effective as it's a third-party endorsement. Julie and I have the same target audience, and we each emailed each other's target audience about our events. This doubled registrants for my live event and hers; we each picked up more clients than expected.Â

2. Mutual Interviews:
You can interview them and vice versa and share with each other's audience on LinkedIn. This gives each of you leverage and positions you as an authority because you're being interviewed. It's simple and leverages each other’s audience to grow your business.Â

3. Referrals:
Referrals to your connections to foster trust and solidify relationships. Jordon and I do this and give each other 10% when someone becomes a client that we refer to one another.

4. Promotion of each other:
Promote a connection in a LinkedIn post; they can do the same for you. My goal is to promote one person a day on LinkedIn. One of my promotion LinkedIn posts of a connection increased their followers and created 11 new leads. Your audience takes notice when you promote others because you are not making it all about you, and I have people connecting with me because I promote others who are interested in what I do.Â

Food for thought: When you promote someone else on LinkedIn, not only is it a third-party endorsement, but your LinkedIn audience will notice you because it's rare to talk about someone other than yourself. Think about that! The Law of Reciprocity applies here.
5. Joint Events:
Leverage each other’s audience to organize webinars, LinkedIn Lives, or Live LinkedIn Audio w/ Q&A sessions where both can provide value to a shared audience. I did this with another founder. We, as well as our team members, promoted the event.
The audience size was 3x my average audience size, and leads doubled.

6. Collaborative Content:
I collaborated with one of my connections on each of our LinkedIn newsletters. Each newsletter had a call to action for the other, which led to a landing page. My collaborator received 10 new leads from this one action.

7. Collaborate Skillsets:
Azmara has an operational skillset, which is not my strength. I needed someone to set up my online platform, Kajabi, with all my training and organize it to benefit my clients. She needed to identify and attract new clients to her business predictably.
She set up my Kajabi and did a great job, and I helped her with a marketing strategy and sales process to predictably attract new prospects and convert prospects into clients so she could grow her business. Some call it bartering, but it's in the spirit of collaboration.

8. How I brought in an EXTRA 100K Collaborating with a Competitor:
Joint Venture:
I collaborated with another business owner. She specialized in Content Marketing, and I specialized in LinkedIn Strategy and Sales.
Her clients picked up leads but needed help converting them into meetings and meetings into clients. That’s my specialty.
We created a Co-Offer and served our Co-Clients at a higher level together. It took a little extra time, but we each brought in over 100K in 12 months.
